Here it is, early January, I'm surrounded by snow here in Mt. Shasta, CA. And also, as usual, I am surrounded by UFOs aplenty! There's just so many beautiful quilts waiting to be made, and never enough time. Sometimes I have no problem starting and finishing one project before getting excited to start another one. But then there are other periods of time, when I get so distracted by lots of new designs and ideas, that it's really hard to settle down and finish something. But I really love putting the binding on a quilt, it's such a mark of completion! I recently finished a quilt for my first grandchild, Tyler. I'm already thinking of the next one. Wherever you are, I hope you are getting plenty of quilting time, and putting bindings on those finished projects, you never know when the next "gotta make it" design will pop up!
